The mission of Gabe’s Giving Tree is to give back to children going through the same scare we did. To help provide them with resources, comfort, and bring joy back into their lives. We do this by raising money for research, providing packets to schools, hosting fun events, and by providing gifts to children fighting their battles.

In the beginning of our journey we relied upon others and doing our own research to best decide who to work with and what resources to use, now we are working to help provide resources and comfort to others. Gabe's Giving Tree is our way to make a families worst nightmare a little less stressful, while we can't fight the battle for them, we can help relieve some stress by helping where we can.

Gabriel, was diagnosed with a brain tumor after a visit to the ophthalmologist. What started as a visit to the eye doctor very quickly became an urgent transfer to Children’s Hospital and a flurry of tests and doctors. By the evening, Shannon and John had been given the news that their 6 year old had a brain tumor.​

Gabe’s Giving Tree was created to lift children and families spirits who are facing cancer.

Through our experience we know that it takes more than medicine to help during these difficult times.
